Vehicle 11002

  This vehicle was added to the ILWG fleet in June of 2006.  This is a Ford extended body 15 pac vehicle.  It only has a seating capacity of 11 due to the rear 4-man seat being removed in 7/2008 per NHQ requirements. This vehicle is one of two that ILWG received in 2006. 11002 is equipped with a tow package along with CAP radios for missions and activities. 11002 is assigned to ILWG Group 2. 

 

Vehicle 11005

 This is a 1998 Ford Windstar. This vehicle is a seven passenger van that is assigned to ILWG Group 1, Scott AFB, IL.

 

 

 

Vehicle 11006

This is a 2005 Chevy Express, 12 passenger vehicle. This vehicle is assigned to ILWG Group 9 and stationed in Springfield, Illinois at IL-036. 

 

 

 

 Vehicle 11008

This  vehicle is a real work horse when it comes to ES missions and administrative usage. This 1996 Ford Explorer is the vehicle of choice for the ILWG Vice Commander. 11008 is assigned to Wing HQ but mostly lives in Southern Illinois. This vehicle is set up for any communication needs that may arise in the field.

 

Vehicle 11015

This is a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan 7 passenger mini van. It is stationed at ILWG HQ. so that the Wing Administrator can have access for her transportation needs. It also serves as transportation for ES missions, cadet activities, and a shuttle for members that fly in for activities at ILWG HQ.


 

Vehicle 11019

One of our older vehicles.  This 1994 Dodge, 12 passenger van lived most of its life at Scott AFB in Southern Illinois. It was transferred to Group 2 in 2007 where it now resides at IL-332, the Cornelius Coffey Composite Squadron in South Holland, Illinois.    It has been reported to the ILWG / LGT that it does not like the cold weather in the North.

 

This Vehicle 21

This a 1994 Ford Aerostar 7 passenger van. This vehicle has been transferred to the North and now resides in Woodstock, Illinois with the Wing Safety Officer who is a member of Wing HQ.

 

 

Vehicle 11022

Vehicle 11022 is one of two new vehicles received in June of 2006. This is a Ford extended body 15 pac vehicle.  It only has a seating capacity of 11 due to the rear 4-man seat being removed in 7/2008 per NHQ requirements. This van is assigned to Group 22 , and stationed at the McHenry Composite Squadron, IL-263, in the Woodstock, Illinois area of Northern Illinois.

 

Vehicle 11024     

This vehicle is a 1996 Chevy Astro van, 7 passenger vehicle. 11024 was recently assigned to Group 3.

 

 

 

Vehicle 11025

This vehicle is a 1996 Ford E-350 12 passenger van. This vehicle was originally in service in the Rock Island area of Illinois until July of 2007. 11025 is highly used for ES missions. Cadet activities are also accountable for mileage on this vehicle. 11025 has been reassigned to Group 22 & stationed at Palwaukee Composite Squadron.

 


Vehicle 11026

This is a 1992 Chevy Blazer 4WD SUV. This is the oldest vehicle in the fleet. This vehicle was repainted in 2006 and has had a lot of TLC. It has been towed to ILWG HQ.  Arrangements are being made to turn this vehicle in to the DRMO for Disposal In Place.

 

 

Vehicle 11032

This is a 1994 Dodge B-350, 12 passenger van. It was recently reassigned to IL-251, Rockford Composite Squadron in Group 22. This vehicle is used for cadet activities and ES missions.

 



Vehicle 11050

This is one of two new 2007 Ford E-350 12 passenger vehicles that ILWG received. This vehicle is assigned to IL-008, Quad City Composite Squadron in Group 9. This vehicle replaced 11025 because of the many dignitaries and high ranking military personnel that this vehicle transports.

 

 Vehicle 11052

11052 is the second of the two new 2007 Ford E-350 12 passenger vans. This vehicle replaced 11019 because it is a highly visible vehicle at Scott AFB and should reflect CAP in a professional manner. 11052 is used equally for ES missions as well as cadet programs. This vehicle is assigned to IL-205, Scott Composite Squadron in Group 1.

 

Trailer 11036     

This trailer is similar to the actual unit that is based at the Palwaukee Composite Squadron, IL-049. Plans are to convert this trailer to a communications trailer for ES missions. I will update this photo and information as I have something to report.

 

 

Trailer 11037

This is a 1996 Stevens 1/2 ton utility trailer . It is set up to be hauled with a standard ball hitch. It is assigned to Group 2, IL-016. Intended use for this trailer is for CAP activities, and parades.

 

 

 

Trailer 11041   (This trailer is not the actual unit)

This trailer is similar to the one that is used to store and haul the ILWG hot air balloon used at flight encampment. This trailer is issued to ILWG HQ but is based at IL-189, the COL. Shorty Powers Composite Squadron in Group 14.

 

 

 

Trailer 11045

This is a light generator that is going to be modified to be a mobile communications antenna tower. This trailer has inside storage in Peotone, IL 60468, with Group 2.
